Modeling of Noncommunicable Disease Research Center (MNDRC) with the aim of providing an appropriate framework for conducting fundamental and applied specialized research in data modeling of Noncommunicable disease in order to promote community health was founded in 2013 at UMSHA. The office of MNDRC is located in the School of Public Health. In addition to its’ collaboration with the Prevention and Control of Noncommunicable Disease Unit of the vice chancellor of public health, MNDRC is able to cooperate with other internal or external research institutions and centers. It is expected that with the efforts of the members, this center will be recognized as one of the top specialized research centers in providing effective solutions to reduce Noncommunicable diseases in the country.

By establishing a Noncommunicable disease modeling research center, it is a suitable platform for conducting fundamental and applied specialized research in the field of Noncommunicable disease data modeling with the aim of identifying the center as one of the top specialized research centers in the country. This center is active in four groups of:

  1. Measuring and evaluating health data
  2. Modeling of Individual and Social Risk Factors of Noncommunicable Diseases
  3. Modeling of Genetic Risk Factors for Noncommunicable Diseases
  4. Modeling of Environmental Risk Factors for Noncommunicable Diseases
