Suicide attempt registration program

The purpose of the registration program:       This study was designed to accurately record cases of attempted suicide in order to determine the magnitude of the problem, determine the demographic characteristics of individuals susceptible to suicidal behaviors, and identify protective factors and risk factors for suicidal behaviors. The aim of the present study is to determine the frequency/consequences of attempted suicide in Hamedan.

Study population:

All patients with a final diagnosis of suicide attempt who were referred or referred to public and private hospitals, emergency centers, health centers, forensic medicine, and psychiatrists' offices in Hamedan were included in the study.
