INTRODUCTION:
The intellectual property office, Inventions and Intellectual Property in the Field of Medical Sciences has been established under the auspices of the Vice-Chancellor
for Research and Technology of Hamadan University of Medical Sciences with the aim of developing and utilizing the university's high scientific capabilities and 
potentials in order to apply the ideas and innovations of the faculty members, as well as researchers and elite students of the university. The said office intends 
to take steps towards serving the learned professors and student and research elites by providing consulting services and carrying out some practical follow-ups
through the creation of the following facilities:
1- Converting product-oriented research projects implemented at the university into inventions
2- Reviewing research projects to identify and extract potential ideas with applicability and converting them into inventions
3- Evaluating and judging scientific ideas and inventions to issue scientific approval
4- Following up on obtaining a patent certificate from the General Directorate of Companies Registration and Industrial Property
5- Pursuing scientific approval from reputable national authorities such as the National Elite Foundation, the National Scientific and Industrial 
Research Organization, and the Special Audit Board of the Ministries of Science, Research and Technology and Health, Treatment and Medical Education
6- Providing financial resources and equipment to complete the stages of invention production
7- Pursuing commercialization of patented inventions through introduction to the university's subsidiary growth centers and also introduction to the university's 
industry relations office for production by related factories.
8- Benefit from the office's legal, scientific, and economic advice and support from the beginning of the idea registration process to the industrialization of the product.
