Autism Spectrum Disorders Information Recording Registration Program

The purpose of the registration program:  The Autism Spectrum Disorders Registration System was designed to determine the prevalence and incidence of this disorder in Hamedan Province and enables early diagnosis, timely treatment, and regular follow-up of patients. This system facilitates effective monitoring of health services and the reduction of irreversible complications and treatment costs. .

Study population:

Children with autism spectrum disorders whose diagnosis has been confirmed by a psychiatrist constitute the target population of this system. This registration system is regionally limited to Hamedan province and includes all individuals with autism spectrum disorders, regardless of age or gender. Data collection sites include the Autism Spectrum Disorders Research Center of Hamedan University of Medical Sciences, the Welfare Medical Commission, occupational therapy and speech therapy clinics, the Hamedan Autism Association, psychiatric clinics, and psychiatric and neurology offices throughout the province.
